Sometimes I snicker a little bit about the name I choose for this blog, Our Peaceful Home, it sounds so serene doesn’t it? And, at times I wonder if people don’t want to stop here and read because they believe I have it all, I’ve attained it, and that our home is perfectly peaceful. Maybe, they feel like I’m going to make them feel guilty because I do everything well and they can’t. Some mom blogs are like that. But, I won’t because I can’t do everything. I’m here to confess to you that our home is not perfectly peaceful. True confessional: we are a wreck, a mess, my children fight with each other, and sometimes I even yell at my children. *Gasp.* Are you surprised? Are you thrown for a loop after seeing the title of my blog? Honestly, I choose the title of this blog because I do want a peaceful home (not because I already have one). I’ve realized along the way that it may never ever be perfectly peaceful, because I have an imperfect heart that has been saved by only the grace of God. You can read more about my true confessional of having an imperfect heart at my guest post at (in)courage here.
